Impact and Impact Assessment:
Wisconsin has two programs that provide limited assessment of environmental impacts. Wisconsin reviews groundwater withdrawal adjacent to sensitive waters and reviews irrigation and agricultural surface water withdrawals for environmental impacts. These programs predate the Compact and will be integrated into the Compact review process.
